Assessments:
Chemical dependency assessments are available, by appointment, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. A complete psychosocial, chemical, legal, medical and mental health history is collected and, where indicated, a DSM-IV diagnosis is assigned. Following the assessment, usually consisting of one visit, a referral to the appropriate level of care will be made.
Entry Group
Once you have been assigned to a Huther-Doyle treatment group, your first experience will be Entry Group. The Entry Group meets once before your first treatment session, and is conducted by the Intake Counselors. You will have the opportunity to meet some of the Huther-Doyle Counselors who will be helping you during your Recovery. At this time you will also be oriented to the recovery process, the treatment approach and expectations. Paperwork, attendance, and co-payments will be explained to you and you will have a routine medical assessment. Entry Group is designed to make your experience in treatment as smooth and productive as possible. If needed, you may be referred for case management services at this time.
