The Young Offender Re-entry Program is a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration grant program of Huther-Doyle.
Huther-Doyle, in collaboration with 10 partners, four of which are New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services licensed treatment service providers, and seven other members of the Rochester Community-based Substance Abuse Services community launched Project No Return in 2005. Services: Intensive case management to ensure that participants have timely access to drug and alcohol treatment, as well as a full range of support services that address housing, educational/vocational, health, mental health, family reunification and other related needs prior to their release from the correctional facility. Objective: To improve access to treatment through funding of treatment slots for those without resources, to provide a seamless linkage to treatment and support services through pre-release engagement, and follow up with intensive case management. Once members of the target population are identified and released into the community. |
