As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on the generosity and active support of people like you—people who see the value in every life, the potential of our community and the importance of our work. Every penny donated to Huther Doyle goes directly to benefit our clients as we work to provide them with the best treatment and care available.
Internships and Volunteers
We work closely with local colleges and institutions to provide quality internship opportunities for students who are looking to make a meaningful difference in our community. Space is limited. Contact your college advisor well in advance if you are interested.

Family Involvement
All clients are encouraged to invite family members to be involved in their treatment. Experience has shown that the support of family members can make a significant positive impact. Yet even the strongest families may go through difficult and unexpected changes during the recovery process. That’s why we offer support and guidance for families and loved ones as they move through these changes.
We also provide individual sessions for those who have a loved one with substance use disorder issues, whether or not the loved one is a Huther Doyle client.
How Donations Change Lives
In 2016, opioid overdose was our nation’s leading cause of death for those under the age of 50, claiming more American lives in that one year than were lost in all 20 years of the Vietnam War. Sadly, this tragic trend is likely to continue in 2018, as well. As shocking as those statistics are, alcohol abuse claims even more lives than opioids.
Fortunately, both opioid and alcohol abuse—as well as other forms of substance abuse—can be successfully treated. At Huther Doyle, we’re committed to being on the front lines with outpatient treatment programs and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options. As a provider of Vivitrol (a medication that addresses cravings for both opioids and alcohol) and Suboxone (a medication that addresses cravings related to opioids), we have recognized the important need to expand our MAT program and will soon publicly announce the addition of more practitioners to provide MAT, as well as expanded MAT hours for those who need them. This allows us to provide the most current, up-to-date evidence-based curriculum and programs.
