Our 7th Annual Friends for Hope Breakfast took place this past Tuesday, 4/14/26, and it was truly an amazing event. More than 330 supporters joined us at Eagle Vale Golf Club for breakfast, meaningful connections, and an inspirational program featuring powerful speakers, an award presentation, and time to network with others.

We are deeply grateful to our community for being such a gracious audience when our planned keynote speaker was unable to attend due to a medical emergency. Your understanding and kindness meant more than we can say.

A special and heartfelt thank you to Stephanie Campbell, who stepped in at the very last minute and delivered a wonderful keynote that inspired everyone in the room. We are so appreciative of her generosity and leadership.

Congratulations to Rob Kent, who took home the prestigious George Huther Jr. Memorial Award. As one of the individuals nominating him said, “When I look at the criterion for this award, he epitomizes the ideal candidate. He has been at the forefront of advocacy and common-sense approaches towards treatment, support, legislation, and funding for those with substance use disorder and their families for many years and this advocacy has resulted in his recognition throughout New York State and Nationally.” Thank you, Rob, for your contributions and leadership in our community and beyond!

💙 Donations are still open if you’d like to support Huther Doyle’s mission and help us continue providing hope, healing, and recovery services across our community.
