A former gang member, Richard fought a life sentence in prison and has since dedicated himself to helping others. He tells a compelling story of human transformation, redemption and recovery. Nominated for a 2015 Emmy Award for his riveting portrayal of Hector Tontz in ABC's anthology series American Crime, Richard was discovered by producers while working as a baker at Homeboy Industries. With memorable roles in movies such as The Counselor, A Better Life, End of Watch, Rampart and Snitch, he has also starred in the Lethal Weapon series on FOX and guest starred on ABC's Body of Proof and HBO's Luck. Richard can currently be seen in Mayans MC, the spin-off series to Sons of Anarchy on FX.
